Birthplace of Manhae Han Yong-un

This is where Hang Yong-un, an independence activist, Buddhist monk and poet, was born. As one of the 33 people who led 1919 Independence Movement of Korea in 1919, he was the one who led 1919 Independence Movement of Korea in 1919.He published a collection of poems under the title "Your Silence"’ in 1926 and led the publication of literature on resistance.

The house, which is seated in a sunny area in front of a mountain, was rebuilt and a management hall, manhae hal and national monument park were established. The house is a thatched house with 3 compartments in the front and 2 compartments in the sides. The manhae literature experience hall at the entrance of the site provides a glimpse into Manhae Han Yong-un's life.
